The America Heart Association in partnership with º£½Ç»»ÆÞ Washington College of Law is hosting a virtual webinar on April 27, 2021 for an important conversation regarding lawyers and mental health. Lawyers are 3.6 times as likely to be depressed as other professions, and over 20 percent have substance abuse disorder. Statistics have only worsened amidst the ongoing pandemic, as 45% of adults across all professions say COVID has negatively impacted their mental health. Among the many side-effects of poor mental health is the physical and emotional stress associated with such conditions, stress which puts you at an increased risk for heart disease and stroke.
