SPA Dean's Fund

The School of Public Affairs Dean's Fund is a dedicated resource designed to support and enhance the educational, research, and community engagement initiatives within the school. This unrestricted fund provides financial assistance for a wide range of programs and activities, including scholarships for students, faculty research projects, leadership development initiatives, and public service projects. The Dean's Fund is applied to the current areas of greatest need - allowing the flexibility necessary for SPA to foster innovative solutions to complex societal challenges. Contributions to the Deans Fund enable the School to maintain its excellence in public affairs education and practice, support the professional growth of its students and faculty, and strengthen its impact on local, national, and global communities. Giving to the Dean's Fund is one of the most effective ways to support the School of Public Affairs.

SPA Student Emergency Fund

Unexpected difficulties like fire, temporary homelessness, injury, or loss of family can become frightening turning points for students, changing the course of their lives and threatening educational goals. In response, we created the SPA Student Emergency Fund to assist students by providing immediate financial support in times of crisis.

When you give to the SPA Student Emergency Fund, you give a student the chance to weather the financial and emotional toll of an emergency. You directly help students overcome temporary crises, remain focused on their education, and graduate on time with the skills necessary to make an impact in our community.

The number of students who can be served by the SPA Student Emergency Fund depends on the availability of funds. The fund must be sustained by contributions from alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the school.
