Statement on Linguistic JusticeÌý

The Writing Center at º£½Ç»»ÆÞ acknowledges the racial history upon which the university systems, structures and rules in which we teach and learn were built. We reject discrimination, intolerance and racism in all of their manifestations. We reject bias based on visible and perceived identity and all forms of linguistic supremacy and discrimination. We strive instead to create and maintain a safer and more inclusive space for our community and those with whom we work. We acknowledge that language and identity are intertwined and honor the value and the power of all World Englishes.Ìý
