Bio
Suzanne started as a study abroad advisor in the SIS Office of International Programs in January of 2022. She manages and advises on SIS semester and short-term summer programs abroad. Just prior to coming to SIS, Suzanne worked as a Regional Director at International Studies Abroad where she managed university relationships and recruitment for international programs at partner institutions across the Mid-Atlantic. During her undergraduate studies, Suzanne did a semester abroad with Semester at Sea, and a study tour to the Tohoku region of Japan with The Washington Center. As a graduate student, she was a 2017 GW UNESCO Fellow and spent the summer researching adult learning best practices at the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning in Hamburg, Germany. Suzanne has dedicated her decade in the field of International Education to combating underrepresentation in international programs and researching the intersection of international experiential learning and career development.
