Kevin Grasty joined º£½Ç»»ÆÞ in 1983 as the lead graphic designer for undergraduate recruitment. He manages the integrated in-house creative services team of designers, writers, editors, photographer, production and traffic manager and university communications and marketing administrative unit that support the division’s photography, technology, and customer service support. Kevin manages the creative team that produces the university's flagship publication, American magazine, annual year in review report, undergraduate admissions collateral, priority development and alumni relations collateral, and other high-visibility projects that showcase º£½Ç»»ÆÞ’s incredible story.

He monitors the use of º£½Ç»»ÆÞ’s official logotypes, marks and supports the university’s licensing and trademark program and its partnership with Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC). He advises on creative design strategy related to integrated digital communications, and university marketing and branding initiatives. His notable contributions include: directing the reimagined and redesigned American magazine (print and digital), serving as the design lead for the redesign of american.edu, and lead designer of the º£½Ç»»ÆÞ Athletics and Recreation primary and secondary logotypes, and the Blue Crew spirit program logo.
