The Reverend Bryant M. Oskvig, an ordained elder of the United Methodist Church, has been working on university campuses since 2006. Rev. Oskvig received his Master of Divinity from Boston University, where he also earned an MBA in Public/Non-Profit Management. He received academic honors throughout his education including, Mission and Ministry Scholars recognition, Outstanding MBA Candidate scholarship, and was named a Lewis Fellow by Wesley Seminary.
Rev. Oskvig, known as Rev O, prior to full-time campus ministry served in a number of United Methodist congregations in New York, Massachusetts, DC, and Maryland. He further has been involved in the broader United Methodist Church having served in leadership on administrative councils and audit committees. Rev. Oskvig was recently elected by his peers to serve as delegate to the Northeast Jurisdictional Conference, and he has participated in a number of conversations and gatherings across the country following the recent General Conference.
Rev. Oskvig is currently pursuing doctoral studies in the black mystic tradition of Howard Thurman and its relationship to the Civil Rights movement.
